Co-Director, CSAB

Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting our site. Since 1979, CSAB has been treating and educating people about eating disorders. We are committed to the prevention of this insidious illness that takes a psychological, physical, medical, financial, social, and spiritual toll. Everyone who is connected to the person with an eating disorder is affected. We believe that our work makes a difference in understanding and treating eating disorders.

Candidates, therapists, teachers, supervisors, and volunteers who are part of CSAB's staff are all committed to healing. They are continuously learning about new treatments to better serve those who seek treatment or want to find out more about this field. Members of our staff present programs at schools, colleges, and other organizations to provide the latest information about preventing and treating eating disorders.

For those seeking treatment, CSAB offers a variety of treatment modalities and a sliding fee scale. Staff therapists are all trained in the specialty of treating Eating Disorders. We also make referrals to other treatment services when appropriate.

CSAB raises money to subsidize treatment and to enlarge our educational and prevention programs. Since January 2004, we have been able to subsidize a number of patients' fees for treatment and are committed to continuing this program through the generosity of our supporters.

Please take this opportunity to explore the CSAB website and to get to know us. If you know someone in need of treatment or who would benefit from more information, tell them about our site. If you know someone who would like to volunteer their services or to donate money, please tell them about our site. If you would like to be involved in some capacity, please don't hesitate to contact us.

In closing, we invite you join us in our mission. As Senator Robert Kennedy stated, "One person can make a difference."

Warmly,
Jill M. Pollack & Jill E. Daino
